Please disregard google maps when arriving. Maps can mislead you. When approaching Marmaris, the maps that divert the vehicle to the right, in the direction of Okluk, can drag you to a very long dirt road in your slightest absent-mindedness. After entering Marmaris, you will continue in the direction of Datça (there is only one road anyway). In Değirmenyanı Village, the first settlement, there is a sign for Bördübet-Amazon on the right. Ignore this sign and continue towards Datça. After a few km. you will pass in front of the Gendarmerie station building on the right… Continue on the road… As you climb a little slope and glide down, the Aegean on your right and the Mediterranean on your left will greet you… Soon you will pass the D Maris hotel intersection on your left and after 150 meters you will come to the Bördübet-Amazon turnoff with a black and white highways sign on the right side (there is a bus stop on the left side of the road). Turn in front of the sign and continue for 6 km. The sea will be on your left… At the end of the 6th km, the sea will disappear and an arrow sign saying Amazon 4 km will direct you to the left. In a short while the road will turn into a dirt forest road and the sea will reappear on your left. At the end of about 4 km of forest road, the Amazon bay will welcome you.
